Alysha Conner is currently 24 years old. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.
As the granddaughter of former Tuskegee Airman, Andrew Lee Wallace, Conner always knew she would attend and graduate from an HBCU. In 2014, Conner moved to Atlanta, GA to attend Clark Atlanta University.
While a student at CAU, Conner held the position of Managing Editor of the CAU Panther newspaper as well as Lifestyles Editor. While Editor of The Panther Newspaper, Conner received an award for 2nd place in "Outstanding Feature Writing Medium University Division" at the 66th Annual Southern Regional Press Institute. Conner graduated Magna Cum Laude from CAU in May 2017, with her BA in Journalism.
Conner presently resides in Atlanta.

Conner enjoys writing poetry and performing spoken word during her spare time. She also enjoys mentoring youth using the creative arts. Through her passion for paying it forward, Conner established Scarz2Starz, Inc. in 2018.
Scarz2Starz, Inc. is a non-profit urban creative arts program. Our organization provides the knowledge and resources to minority youth artists, in efforts of combating the school-to-prison pipeline, closing racial wealth gaps in underserved communities, and keeping minority youth off the streets. As an artistic mentoring organization and program, our mission is to provide services that uplift at-risk youth.
